By placing an order with and submitting payment to The Funkycold Co. you are automatically agreeing to our terms of service and terms and conditions below.


Damages

The Funkycold Co is not liable for confection damages during and/or after customer hand-off.  Customers assume responsibility in storing confections properly after receipt to ensure no damages.

Please take in to consideration in hot weather to refrigerate or store your confections accordingly.                                                                 

● Custom Decorated Cookies:

Cookies can be displayed in original sealed. packaging.

Store cookies at room temperature and out of direct sunlight. Cookies should be consumed within seven (7) days of receipt or frozen for up to three months.

Refrigeration is not required, however possible as needed for warmer temperatures.

To freeze cookies: Place vertically in a snap lid container (do not stack cookies!) and freeze.

To defrost frozen cookies: Leave decorated cookies in sealed packaging and place in a single layer in a larger sealed bag or container with snap seal or lid. Allow cookies to thaw in refrigerator for 24 hours before consuming.

Depending if your cookies contain hand-painted detailing, CONDENSATION MAY RUIN HAND-PAINTED DESIGNS! Freeze hand-painted cookies at own risk. Removing cookies from the freezer directly at room temperature may shock cookies and form condensation.

Ingredients

The Funkycold Co. is not liable for allergy reactions due to consumption. Please ensure you and your recipients of confections are aware of allergens in confections.

All confections contain allergens such as Eggs, Dairy, and Gluten (with exception of the gluten free cookie option). Specialty flavors such as those that contain Ube or Ube Halaya contain Coconut.

We are not a fully nut-free/ gluten-free kitchen and confections may come in contact Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Wheat, Soy, Fish, Crustacean, Shellfish, Dairy, and Eggs. Please use your best judgment when determining your acceptable level of exposure to cross contamination of these allergens is a possibility.

Custom cookies are individually wrapped and labelled with ingredients upon distribution and should not be removed.

Cancellation Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. AGAIN, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Yes, we understand that things happen beyond our control and cancellations may be needed. If you find out that your event date has changed please advise us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to ensure we can accommodate.

If your event has been cancelled and you select to not have confections created, 100% of your payment will be offered as credit (full or deposit; whichever pertains to your order) and will be applied to your future order. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

If for any reason, WE, The Funkycold Co., need to cancel your order, a full refund will be given in the order which payment was received.

Media Release

Unless we are notified in writing by the customer, the completion of an order constitutes a release of rights and hold harmless agreement for any and all photos and videos related to your confection order.  This includes their use in our advertising, websites, social media etc.  If you would like photos or videos of your confections not shared, please advise us as soon as possible.

Payment Instructions

Orders totaling under $600.00 require payment in full within 24-hours of invoice receipt or order will be cancelled without notification.

All rush orders under $600.00 require payment in full at time of invoice receipt or order will be cancelled without notification.

Orders totaling over $600.00 require a 50% deposit due within 24-hours of invoice receipt. Balances are due 7 days prior to scheduled delivery or pick-up date. Full payments are always welcome.

Accepted Payments:  Venmo, PayPal, and Square*

All confections are subject to Seattle, WA Sales Tax of 10.25%

Local Pick-up and Delivery Options

Standard Orders

Local pick-up is available weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays, 11:30AM-12:00PM or 4:30PM-5:00PM at the Seattle/Georgetown location and address that will be noted on your order invoice. Please note times may change depending on seasonal weather and will be noted on your invoice.

PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR PREFERRED PICK-UP DAY AND A TIME THAT WORKS BEST FOR YOU WITHIN THE TIMEFRAME AT TIME OF INQUIRY.

If you require a pick-up time outside of these hours, please ADVISE AT TIME OF INQUIRY and we will do our best to accommodate.

Delivery is available Monday through Friday and REQUIRES SCHEDULING AND ADDRESS AT TIME OF INQUIRY. 

All deliveries will incur fee from our location in Georgetown / Seattle as follows:

  • 1 mile to 5 miles: $20

  • 6 miles to 10 miles: $25

  • 11 miles to 15 miles: $30

  • 16 miles to 20 miles: $35

  • 21+ miles: Custom quotation required!  Let’s chat!

Weekend delivery is available and will incur an additional $20.00 fee on top of the delivery charge.

Corporate Orders

Corporate and business orders receive complimentary delivery Monday through Friday within five miles of our Seattle location. Additional mileage outside of the complimentary mileage limits will be calculated at $4.00 per mile with a minimum charge of $20.

We do not ship confections locally, nationally, or internationally.


Confection Designs

Although customers send us conceptual imagery or cookie designs they love, we will always modify and add our own personal spin in the final product. We do NOT copy designs 1:1 the way it was created from another artist.

Due to copyright laws, we DO NOT OFFER licensed or copyright characters of 1:1 likeness. (i.e. Characters of or from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Universal, Dreamworks, PinkFong, etc). Character design requests will ONLY be interpreted artfully of character or theme via likeness of textures and colors.

All and any “character”-like/theme requests will automatically be considered as a Level III: The Bougie Baker level.

Any requests to recreate trademarked logos of a company, business, or organization for said company/ business/ organization we will require written consent from said company/ business/ organization and must be obtained by the customer. Please send this with your inquiry if possible to expedite estimating and invoicing.

We DO NOT reach out to customers to go over designs prior to invoicing. Whatever details (i.e. colors / event themes / names if applicable / inspo concepts) received at time of inquiry is what is used to create your set.

Example of detailed request: “30th Birthday, Celebrant’s name is Alex, Party theme charcuterie 30 / she loves cheese! Party colors are neutral tones with blush pinks and earthy greens.

CONCEPTUAL sketches for your order will be included on your invoice. Final designs may deviate slightly from these, so please only use these as a GUIDE. Please review upon receipt. If revisions are absolutely required, please advise us via email.

We are always open to your design ideas and love design challenges! However, We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not accept design or order requests that may cause harm or offense to a person(s) or a group(s) or may depict violence.

Discounts Available

We understand the want for custom cookies, but sometimes not within your budget. We do offer several types of discounts!
